LEMTA is an engineering science research laboratory whose research topics are based on technological platforms and the development of innovative measurement techniques. These experimental activities are combined with modelling and numerical simulation to design materials, devices and systems that will address tomorrow’s energy challenges.

The Institute of Materials, created in 1988 by the renowned French chemist Jean Rouxel, represents one of the largest materials research centres in France. Research projects are diverse, including collaborations with industry, and other national and international research organisations.

The REALCAT platform, implied in the DREAM-BIO project is specialised in high-throughput experiments in the field of catalysis, more particularly for sustainable resources valorisation.
